Our Story: From Love Songs to Live Weddings

We’re Love Note Music — a Sunshine Coast acoustic duo at heart, with a curated collective of like-minded musicians ready to bring the right sound to your day.

It all began with a love song. Ange first started Love Note Music by writing and recording original songs for couples — little musical love notes to complement their vows. Soon couples were asking for more: not just the songs, but the live performance. That’s when Dan joined, and together we became a full-time live wedding band.

Ten years and hundreds of weddings later, we’ve grown into something bigger: a small wedding music agency with a big heart. Our collective of friends and fellow musicians share our ethos of creating one-of-a-kind, heartwarming wedding experiences.

We had Dan & Ange from Love Note Music play at our wedding last weekend - and was the best decision we made. They are wonderful musicians, the music they played helped set the atmosphere as we had hoped & all our guests loved it. Our wedding was planned to be outside, but, of course, the weather had other ideas - so they set up inside.

Part way through the reception, as the rain cleared, a lot of our guests made their way outside to where the reception was meant to be under lights.. Not 5 mins after noticing this, Ange came & asked if we would like them to reset up outside. I know how much effort it takes to set up, let alone, take down and reset up half way through - but it was no issue to them. It really did make our night when the weather cleared & we had our first dance under the stars.. So a big thank you to Love Note.

We will be highly recommending you to all our friends & anyone else that's looking for an acoustic duo.
